Every month, children ages 2–12 and their caregivers come together at Lopez Urban Farm to explore the art of growing their own food. Offered in seasonal sessions, the program is inspired by Lopez’s advocacy and features a variety of hands-on activities and interactive lessons designed to provide an immersive farm experience.

Our FOLKLORE show will take you on a journey through the natural world as you enjoy a day touring our local farm, learning about sustainable circus, and experience the art of movement and storytelling.

Milkweed Festival at Grow Native Nursery
Visit with exhibitors from Xerces Society, Lopez Urban Farm, Monarch Watch and more! Contribute to a pollinator themed craft activity. Attend a talk by local milkweed expert Steve Bryant on California's many native milkweed species (time TBD). CalBG admission not required to visit Grow Native Nursery.

Workers' Memorial Day
Join us for Workers' Memorial Day. We will honor those we've lost to workplace accidents and committing to fighting for those who continue to be exploited and hurt at work. Participate in dressing the altar by bringing offerings or a photo of a loved one who has passed from a workplace incident. There will be art, music, food for the community, poetry, and a program of speakers.
